I've heard there are different versions of the S-Class Maple. These mounts look like the cheesy kind but how are the shells?

Thanks,

My 02 David:
You will hate that kit. They are significantly lower level than what you are used to. In sound, feel and quality.
Low level.
Tell him to sell his lites he likes them so much.

They are so cheap it is kind of tempting, too bad they would have no resale value. Unless you could re-veneer them in scandi birch. even then it would be a trick.
There is a cheap set of designers on ebay in green sparkle that nobody wants either. be a great gig kit...

Tony Hillhouse is a great guy for refinishing drums. I'm sure his job is A++
I've seen most of his projects, and they're FANTASTIC to say at least...

If you wanna keep them - get them. The resale value is very low, I'm afraid...
