... and have been putting together a studio. I am having to learn a lot and put it together with no money, but even with no money, it's still cheaper this way than hiring out. Most of the equipment we already have, but some studio specific stuff like headphones and headphone wiring are necessary purchases. I'm hoping to get some of our songs recorded in a far better fashion than what we have been getting.

Have been having a ball listening to the teardrops close miked. Will get some sounds up here when I have something.

Those M88's are a kick drums secret weapon, I love them. Can't wait to hear some sounds!

 Good eyes, Tim! Aren't they just? I had that one mounted in my Sig bass for twenty years. Soundmen wanted to know the secret, but after a while, it had been so long since I had opened up the drum, even I forgot. Just showed up and plug the drum in.

The thing that comes on the Giant Step, or a conical felt job.

Sorry, I meant batter head, not pedal beater.

Thanks!

 Sorry, I forgot the beater is not the batter, though why a batter is not batted but beaten is beyond me  Not the first time I've tripped up over terms.
