I had my 13 cut down to 8 1/2 and my 16 floor down to 14 deep and they sound absolutely awesome. The 13 was a bit of an exsperament ( I actually want a 12) and the chap who helped did mess the the drilling up for the lugs a bit ( it still sound great though ). The floor tom came out better than I hoped it's amazing but the chap who did it for me is a drum tech for Steve Gad, Zak Starky ect so standards were very high.

I don't know. Turning a 13 into a 12 may be difficult, but it was, after all, just an exsperament.

Good to hear that the botched work was done to very high standards. :?
