I know this isn't nice, really I do. But it is how I feel.

The big Sonor news is Nikko McBrain is back at Sonor. I find them both to be ridiculously over-rated.

It's not so much the fact that it's big news. It's that it's the ONLY news.

Oh I dunno. Someone at Sonor farts and the drones come out praising it as the miracle of all miracles.

That's what I just said. Oh, and Steve Smith is back with Journey.

After learning of the McBrain news right here, and allowing 48+/- hours for full absorption, I find that I have no reaction at all. :?

Initially I was concerned that McBrain might be a new fast food offering, but that concern appears to be unwarranted.

I did once see Journey by accident, opening for the Stones in 1981, and have no idea who was their drummer at the time, so...

...not knowing if this is (i) a restoration, or, (ii) a change, I find myself equally without reaction, but better informed, nonetheless.
:?

Yeah, he's only been touring the world, pretty much non stop for 35yrs with one of the biggest/most influential Rock/Metal acts of all time.
This has had a massive positive reaction from old school Sonor fans the world over.

What news did Premier announce at Namm............................... They've gone broke, again.

I noticed at least two or three getting fairly worked up.

Don't get me wrong, Nicko is far from the best player in the world.

But, his playing style has been critical in pioneering a genre of music.
Also, he has always only played one kick in a genre absolutely dominated by double players, and well and truly held his own.

Pretty awesome, whether its to your taste or not. :|

Kids these days
You don't like SClass Pro's either so...we'll never get along.

Just trying to start some trouble Jeff.
Glad someone here is able to defend him.
McBrain and Smith are at the top of the drum world right now. Neither are my cup of tea.
So obviously, they're wrong.
Cuz lord knows I've earned my spot as an endorser touring the world over.

I'm just glad Cliff is completely unmoved by these recent turn of events.
