Never tried them Greg. Afraid if I did I would like them. Though they did seem to be much heavier than the 15's I have.
I didn't want to be tempted with something I would struggle with later if I ever wanted to turn them around.
Getting my money back was a better option.

I thought Murat Diril made Paiste Twenty series?
I know that EVERY Turkish cymbal manufacturer is in the original Zildjian factory.

Jeff,

I do not know for certain, but my understanding is that Diril provided blanks, or some level of sub-assembly, but not sure they provided finished product.

Murat Diril, or Ibrahim Diril? :? I know yours are Ibrahim's, I thought Murat Diril made for Paiste.
I know Meinl's B20 Cymbals are outsourced and made in Turkey. They are stamped 'made in turkey', I thought (possibly assumed  ) Paiste Twenty's were the same.

As I understand it, both Ibrahim and Murat. See this link for a 2009 statement purportedly from Erik Paiste.

Not sure anyone but I & M Diril and Paiste know the whole story.

Both Ibrahim and Murat worked on prefabricating the Twenty line.....

and both have GREAT cymbals...

I too am thinking on getting an AD set - the SPECIAL series set I have is magnificent, too... :)
