As the "owner" of this TOPIC I pronounce that:
Designers sound better!!!

My Hilites sound better than the 2 Designer set that are available back here - but only because their owners haven't changed top and bottom heads in about 3 (or 13 years)...

But - thanx Jeff - SOUND should always be ahead of looks... ;)

This may spark a debate...

It might, if anyone could figure out what it means.   It's the word, "probably," that makes the equation slippery.

Goki, as you describe your situation, it makes me very grateful for the economic freedom we experience in the US, regardless of whether or not I have the money to participate as fully as I'd like. I, too, have a perfect dream (at the moment an 18 kick to accompany the Designers), and it will be difficult to procure... but hey! That's part of the fun, looking forward to the possibilities. :D In the meantime, I am still learning how to draw more sound out of my kit, and hopefully I'll continue to do that until I can no longer hold the sticks.

This is what happens to guys that hang upside down, by their feet, from the bottom side of the world. ;)

Damn Mercans, I only just got enough sandbags to stop my kit from dropping up off the earth :?

 Thats it Goki, Tune your kit up real nice, then just explain to one of these Designer owners how sound is more important, and ask them to swap kits ;)
No Brainer

Let go the bags, son. We need them up here to keep the rivers back.
