I'd probably start saving (or sell the Catalinas) and order what I want now, just in case Sonor changes the finishes or the drums themselves.
All the Best,
:ugeek: Brian

Been 4yrs, time for change :| ;)

Might be "SoftTouch" finishes next... remind me: What was the question that drumshells that feel like suede will answer? :| :| :|

Soon :) Then I'm gonna flood you with pictures of the whole process.

Reminds me of that commercial where the guy is reading the inner workings of a transmission and they all ask him to read it again.

Cool!

Veneering is something I am so far away from in terms of knowledge.

Love to see the pictures, Kel.

Getting my flat ride was very exciting... not as exciting as Goki's new kit, but not dry mashed potatoes, either. :|

It was pretty awesome for a quick trip. Got no sleep so therefore had no jet lag, our show was outside and it was about 40 degrees out( a nice summer night I was told) and got to go to the amusement park. Its a really beautiful place with great people, I noticed a lot of similarities in architecture and city layout with some places in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The street food is fantastic, except the taco truck was very bad, like Old El Paso bad. Definitely not "Mexican" food. Why I thought it was a bright idea to get a taco in sweden is beyond me, but then again we got no sleep so I can see where it sounded good at the time.
Went to one drum shop, all low level stuff which I was hoping wouldn't be the case(I really wanted to see the beech infinite in person). I think the taxes are so high there everyone brings in high end gear from other countries.
They were talking about bringing us back for a multi city thing next year which would be exciting because maybe I would learn more Swedish than thank you, coffee and chicken. taco seems to be universal
