These are awesome
8,10,12,14,20 and in great shape, traded my little bopper for them.
All the funky track mounts and floor tom leg brackets are going to take some getting used to but they are the best sounding kit I have ever owned.

YaHOO! Is that the California CL kit? Whatever it is, Congratulations, Tim! Beautiful! :D :D :D

What are the depths?

Don't know how old that kit is, but I believe that the plastic washers under the floor tom bracket knobs are the primary bearers of tension against the legs, and that they wear out and break after time. They were all broken or missing on my 14, and the feel was all wrong without them. Replaced them for a buck each, and voila. Once you begin to understand that clamping and pivoting mechanism, the process of adjustment makes more sense.

And hey, front and rear view all in one! I was a little confused at first, as to which kit I was supposed to look at. :D

It is, I'd been after him for a long time and he finally dropped the price and my birdseyes sold the same day, seemed like it was too good to be true. Took trips to three different fedex locations tracking them all down, but they are safe and sound here. I will post better pics soon, i just wanted to get them set up and some fresh heads on em to see what they could do.

greg they are 8x8, 8x10, 8x12, 14x14, 16x20, perfect.....
All the parts seem to be there and working, they certainly tune up easier than the other ones did. i am debating getting a full set of evans on these, but I have the aquarians and a bunch of ambassadors to wear out first. Guess I can try them all.

I am debating dumping out the 12 and putting my ride cymbal back where it belongs, just 8 and 10 up top, we'll see. I like the pop of those two toms against the floor rumble.

Anyone have one of those cymbal arms for the tom post they want to give up?
Anyone want the gen 2 block style tom stand that came with it?

Fantastic, Tim. Speaking of WOW, I thought the price was pretty good where it was, but you've done well. :D

My money, go Evans. I keep having weird experiences with Remo, as regards construction that renders poor tuning ability. But yeah, try 'em all!

I was a little worried about the 12x8, but I love it. Far easier to control than a 12x 10, and provides greater contrast to the floors. :D

Are you looking for the Designer tom arm that mounts in the 600 double stand? I have one, and might be interested in a trade for the block stand, but I need at least one cymbal arm to go with it.

Email mgm-@frontier.com to see what we can do. :)

Woo hoo!

Tim, I am so happy that you have finally scored the Designers that you have been looking for.

What is the tom mount part you need?

I think he wants the cymbal arm that attaches directly to the large dildo piece. I see them on the bay.
