Yup thats the one, seems a bit steep though, but I don't know how much they were new. Rob I might be in Rotterdam in Jan, if I can confirm that soon maybe I can get one shipped to you and get it then, save some shipping.
I am ideally looking for 3 ax4 mounts for them as well. I like the block stand but I have been running some 3000 stands and like them, and I have gibraltar arms for them. No need to invest in a older arm I dont think.
Kelly I have always been a fan of the sk1, but I have a force batter I want to try as well. we'll see, just like em

I am full out all week but should be able to get some up on Sat for you.
Do you mean without cymbals or the smoke and mirrors?

Cymbals are fine, and I like driver's seat views, but it's a little hard to see what you got. :D Anyway, I'm thrilled and want to share some of your joy.

Ergonomically, how do you reach the 8?

With a stick...

I really havent had a lot of time since I got them to mess with placements. I have been playing a 4 piece for so long, not counting the giant kung fu movie set up(where I dont use a hi hat except on a long reach with my foot)that nothing is where I really am used to it. Except the floor tom and snare. I plan on figuring it out this weekend a little more. I may dump a rack tom, we'll see. I will post progress as it happens. I do kinda like having three racks up though, but man my fills get confused

Which is why I only use one large target (12) in front of me, and a small target (8) outboard. The 12 gets hit automatically, the 8 requires thought. :geek:

Tim, now that you've had these a while, how are they working out for you?

They are still going, i haven't gigged them yet but hope to once I have a gig that isn't a shitty bar or I have to fly to. They have shrunk down to a four piece for the moment.I like a four piece, it's what I am used to. I had it set up 8, 10, 14 and I liked that a lot too. It's nice to have options.
The sound is still great and everytime I catch myself looking at kits I go play them and forget about whatever I was looking at.
