I do a Sonor ebay search at least once a day.
I am quite frankly shocked at what some people are asking for shit. I don't mean a little high....I mean HUH?...GASP! high.
Let me know if you want some examples...I will gladly accomodate.
I've seen this trend climbing for a few months now but it has really hit the "WTF" bar.

And then I would like someone to explain why it makes me so frigging angry.

Question #2, before question #1: Is it selling?

I don't think anything is moving besides those blowout 3007 kits and snares.
1200 for a phonic 3 piece, i don't care if it's rosewood, give me a break.
there is a store near here with 5 phonic kits that have been there for a few years, nobody wants them.
rare sizes and uber high end stuff I understand, but put together from orphan kits with 14x10 floors aren't going anywhere unless someone needs a beater.

The German eBay also raised prices... And not just SONOR...

I think sellers just try to make more, because of the bad economy...

On the other hand - newer stuff is a bit cheaper... :)

I think the one that takes the cake is Sully's SQ2 kit which is listed for 500 more than he paid for it new, that drives me nuts.
