Simple.

You give me the kit.

Tim and I both lose.

You get a dollar from both of us.

That's why, when I have a business question, I always call you. Wait a minute! ...Did Sonor call you before switching over to fauxswood?

Maybe. There was one phone call from someone who claimed to be highly placed, but would not identify himself. :?

Kidding aside, Greg, I am looking forward to the 'compare and contrast', once you have lived with the Gretsch kit for a while.

I'll chip in with a dollar too, if needed... ;)

Gregory - is that Sully's kit?!? If that's the case - YOU're ONE LUCKY GUY...

That kit is a dreamer... :o :o :o :o :o
You scored BIG in the last couple of moths - congratulations on the purchase, my friend

I wonder who got that Designer bop set of his... :S
That kit almost made me wanna give my credit card data to that "fake" Green Card approval email I got 3 days ago...

One thing is sure though - ALL heads on SONOR drums are genuine REMO heads...

Thanks! It is, and indeed I have, Goki; it has been a run of incredible blessings, pushing and challenging my abilities, and opening previously impossible musical considerations. My concern is living up to the gift.

In some part, I must mention, if not thank, the poor souls at Sonor for filling me with righteous indignation and setting me on a new path.

Thinking about selling all my faux veneer sonors and buy an SClassix in white oyster....just kidding
my brother in law (the carpenter) told me long time ago most of the sonor veneers were ALPI, so I'm not shocked at all. If they used the real stuff the prices of the sets would be much higher. ALPI isn't cheap either....
