Congratulations on the score Rob!!! :)

If You decide to sell the 10" tom, there's a guy on this board who would be interested... ;)

Congratulations on the score once again...

Didn't know you had sold your kit, Rob. Congrats on the addition to your menagerie; I'm envious of the (...gag....) "finish." (I think that word has been ruined for me.)

.... but his name wouldn't be Cliff or Gregory. 8-) Can anyone tune one of those so the snares don't buzz like angry hornets?

I sold the rosewood SClassix because of the "faux-veneer". Couldn't stand the sight of it anymore....

Just kidding. I traded the SClassix for the Steve Smith kit plus "some" extra money half a year ago. That was the deal. I felt really sorry about that, so when I got the opportunity to get my hands on an SClassix again, I couldn't resist. I even like the white oyster "finish" .

That's exactly the reason!! SS-kit is great but thick beech has a certain dullness I am not very enthousiastic about. I took me 5 months to get a sound I like....Birch sounds great from the start.

I bought it from Germany, so I don't have it yet. Better pictures will follow, as usual.
