On drums...

There's a Makassar Ebony 12,16,24 (dream )kit thats been listed on GermBay .
If the timing is right, and seller can help, I can probably get it shipped from the Sonor factory on the next Australian container.
Got the OK from the Au distributor, he would ask the favour, done it b4 etc etc.
Timing was just off, and I got a rush of blood and bought the S Class.
Anyways, a big shipment just left, and it will be months before another .

Dream kit has been listed on/off since the beginning of the year. Normally, Taxes, Levy's,Excises,Handling + Destination charges get a little ridiculous, even before you are charged the actual shipping cost of 3 extremely heavy and large drums ..

I think I missed the boat, but, for now, its all about waiting for her to NOT be re-listed for a month or two

...one 12 and going through changes, one 16 and about to start driving, one 24 and probably about ready for an expensive wedding.

Dunno, Jeff. but you probably ought to stick to drums; collecting daughters can be stressful and expensive.

I became very nervous about freight issues. Set myself a limit, and then didn't go there.
I bid up to just over 1100eu, then realised, I'd more than likely be on my own with freight. I would have gone to 1400 had I found ideal shipping.

Easy come............

Got heaps of drums, I'll concentrate on my shed/studio .
