Ha! That reminds me of the time my first girlfriend's father told me, "Hey, if I want any more sh*t out of you I'll squeeze it out of you!"

Ouch!

When my oldest started bringing boys around, my father in law (big hunter, lots of guns) asked, "Do you want me to come over and scare him away?" To which I replied, "No offense Mike, but I see who you've let your daughter marry...." He replied, "Point taken."

 Hilarious.
The funny thing is, Ruben isn't the difficult one, not at all.
Makassar is the typical "Girl with the Curl'. Just turned 3 (yesterday), already rules the house  .

But they are good friends, and I hope he will 'Keep an eye out' for his little sister. I know he will, we went out to dinner (months back) for my wifes birthday, a kid friendly place, with a play area. An older boy starting picking on Makassar, calling her a little baby. Ruben walked straight up to him, stood toe to toe, looked up at him ( Ruben was 4.5, older boy was at least 7), and said "she is NOT a baby, shes a little girl".
The bigger kid didn't know how to react, it seemed as if he wasn't used to being challenged, particularly by a kid half his size  He could have pounded my little man, and my boy would not hesitate to do it again.. Thats my Boy :D . No fighting required, job sorted.

Cheers
