The last time I went to see the Mets, we drove in from CT.

On the return trip, we crossed the Mianus River Bridge on I-95, just a couple of hours before the bridge collapsed into it's namesake river, below.

Up until then, I was just pissed off that my white felt hat was covered in kerosene soot from the Laguardia traffic over the old stadium.

That's just two of the reasons I won't go to see the Met's any more.
:?

p.s. Bridges are only good when they do what you expect them to do; on the other hand, the Mets do that all the time. :?

Yes, fortunately (or unfortunately for many) we have things like Hurricane Irene to keep us from thinking about it. My yard looks like a cemetery for old/dead branches. Must be over 50 of them standing straight up like gravestones having been blown out of the trees and fallen straight into the rain soaked ground!

Sorry David.
Been seeing pictures of my home town in NJ. Unbelievable. Everything is under water.
