Well Kelly, I'd lie if I'd say it doesn't fit You... ;)

Don't have an idea how much it will go for... :(

Yeah that's my size. Would like to have it. Think it will go for more than I can throw at it right now. Kind of a short auction and those type (starting off at a buck) usually do well. I'm guessing 400 range but it's just a guess. I look for 14 x 7's in any color and don't see them for sale.

Kelly, I'd pass on it if you can't afford it right now. They'll be others and you shouldn't have to go as high as $400.

Appreciate your thoughts. 400 wouldn't bother me as far as value goes but I'm short drum money until the Marquis sell.
The hope is to one day find a 14 x 7 Walnut, but that will probably take buying a whole kit to get.
I see no 14 x 7's period for sale. The auction just might confirm that.

Yeah, the 14x5.5 size certainly seemed more prevalent. But when you see how many vintage drums that were sold in the U.S. are still floating around 50 years later you realize that drums that were marketed globally have got to be floating around 20 years later also. Just a matter of serendipity and luck finding them I s'pose.

I'll be on the look out for walnut orphans for you for sure.

You could always call Gravity Music Gear. They're pretty cool guys and might sell it off ebay.

Funny Hale, just came on to say I could get it. They wrote me and said just call we'll settle it on the phone.
I'd have to offer something though and it's sitting at 260 now. I'm okay with letting it go.
This time.
