Damn Kel, they're already boxed up and ready to roll. Think the old school blue Hydraulic heads scared me off!

I know what you mean. Just the sight is intimidating. Tried to play some a long time ago.... Only a pro could handle 'em.

I don't even think those even are heads..

They were designed as heavy duty rim protectors for shipping, and someone played them by mistake.

At one point, I think there was even a reward offered to onyone that could dent one.

Hey Gunnar, maybe you ought to unpack them and take your strongest shot at them; see if you can collect the reward first.
:?

Good analogy for store-bought tomatoes; and someone ate one by mistake.

Great to hear Hale! Always nice when something shows up in the same condition as it went out in.

By the way, not only did Hale reimburse me for my expenses, he let me hang onto a few Zildjians as well. WAY cool of him & much appreciated on my end!

Can't wait to see some "after" pics! :D

Really impressed with both of you. Thanx Gunnar!
Can't wait until Hale gets into them. Stripped all the heads off mine yesterday and got blown away again. Really well made drums.
