Bravo Kelly!!!

The set is phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please post a picture of those when they're on stage, in ALL their glory... :)

Congratulations once again - it sure looks like the waiting was worth it... ;)
And good luck with the bands...

Thank you Goki. Really like them.
Today I will start on the kicks, tear em down.
I would still be watching for some orphans, matching 14 x 7, and either a 14ft or a 16 hang tom so the bottom end matches.
But I'm good for now.

This is on it's way. NOS 14 x 7 Modern Classic Series in Walnut.

Another NOS 14 x 7, Brass, would love to check it out but he wants over 400 for it.

Kelly,

I think I am going to call you a drum shark from now on.

Just like that shark that needs to constantly move water through its gills, I am worried about what happens to you if ever there is not another box coming and/or going :?

Kick drums look nice!.
;)

Your worries are unfounded. There will always be a box coming or going.

I am up and running. Chrome is all scratched up, shelled are spotless, new heads and tuned up.
I dread that task. The whole thing. But worth it...kit is ready, looks killer, sounds freaking unbelievable (get a move on Hale!) Still can't get over this kick drum.
Ready for the two bands that are in the works.
Oh yeah, waiting on some small brass screws to arrive to replace two badges.

I will turn my attention to the 20" kick (ur welcome Cliff) and try to get happy with it. Sure would like to be lugging around a smaller kick. Gotta pick up a reso hopefully tomorrow for it.
But at least...I'm ready.

It did happen Goki, pics are coming!

Sounds like a pretty productive weekend, Kel. ;)

I hope you can find what you want in the 20.

Right now Kate calls it "my drum, da little one".
Trying to sneak it back.
