Ok. I'm putting it out there, yet again. I'm looking for a Designer series 14" x 8" snare with a maple heavy shell. I'm not terribly concerned with finish. It needs to be in excellent condition, though. If you have one, or know where I can find one, please drop me a line. :D

EDIT: I could delete the post, but its much more fun to edit it as a short of addendum, or epilogue. I have found a maple heavy Designer 14" x 8" and it should find its way to me fairly shortly! :D :D :D :D
I'll leave the ad up because if someone were to find another(yes I realize how unlikely that is!  )..I know the perfect home for it! :D

I'm slack-jawed actually. Now I get to bother Greg and Cliff about snarewire choice for a Designer 8". And thanks for the kind words, Kelly. I'd say you don't know how much I appreciate them, but you probably do.

You can bother me all you want. I will enjoy telling you one thing one day and another the next. Each day, I'll feel like an expert.

That's funny you should say that. Because in the short amount of time I've been incessantly(and frenetically!) peppering you with questions, I've discovered that you sound like an expert too! ;)
So, as the adage goes: "If it looks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck...."

So, in my little (picture) book( ) that makes you one o' dem bona fide knowledgeable folks! :P (or "experts", I think is the fancy word for it! )

Thanks goodness I've already had my coffee! :P . Cliff, my friend, you never disappoint. I tossed that softball expecting either you or Gregory to knock the stuffing out of it. You knocked it waay over the centerfield fence.
Ah, good times.
