Hey guys.

I want to throw out this "hypothetical" so I can get a basis from which to work.

I'm currently looking into purchasing Allen's (Gentry) Bubinga Designer set because of the non-hanging FT's. If I did this though, I would have two sets of these drums on hand.

Would anyone be possibly interested in purchasing my Designer Bubinga set in that case?

Does hypothetical money work?
:D
Sorry Justin.

I couldn't buy them anyway, not with one of them upside down like that.

hahaha I wish hypothetical money would work, Kel!

And you should razz Greg about the upside-downer! hahaha I'm being lazy and using his old picture to get the convo going!!! How could you, Gregory!?! :P

Huff... Now comes the real conundrum... do I buy Allen's kit and sit on the difference till a buyer for my set emerges?!?!

If you can afford to do so Justin, I would, if that is the kit I really wanted.
Designers are thee easiest drums on the planet to sell and I wouldn't worry too much about moving yours, especially if you could afford to sit on them a little bit. Really think about what you could take for them ahead of time, I wouldn't mess with trying to make some.
My 02 anyway.

Thanks for saving the day, Kelly.

Hey Justin,

Gotta agree with Kelly on this one. If the others are exactly what you want, don't wait for them to come around again.

Designers are the only drums I have that I consider to be an investment made for a lifetime.
;)

Hilarious, Kelly! I agree with Cliff about saving the day.

Justin, you haven't been taking care of them. I was going to say they hadn't moved since they left here, but they were all right side up then. 8-)

Good advice from all. Same .02 as Kelly and Cliff: if you can afford to sit a while, buy the ones you want and then sell as you can. Just make sure they are, as Cliff says, exactly what you want. Should not be hard to sell your for the price you paid; I priced them low enough to sell, though not so low as to give them away.

I'm here to support my friends. In every way.
If you ship them off to me Justin, I'll see what I can do about getting that drum flipped over.
