We had a great gig Friday night - as a quintet. The crowd really liked us, they were cheering for minutes.
Thursday was a great day to - another gig in a club, and went really well.
Wednesday - Marta read some of her work in front of the Writers Society - the highest authority in her wok. And all the famous writers cheered her!!! She was also in all of the local papers!!!

What a GREAT week, we both thought when we came home Saturday at 2a.m. Plus, we are already booked for the next 4 weeks, including New Years Eve. :D

And then, at around 5a.m. she woke with this horrible pain in the stomach. We went by Ambulance, to the nearest hospital.
Spent all day doing tests, scans, checks, more tests.
The final verdict - appendicitis with a need of a surgery. She's in hospital now - I hope she's in good hands. They wouldn't let me stay and keep her company until the operation.

I hope and pray everything will go on the best side, and that the appendix won't rupture before the surgery. She's never been "under a knife" before, so we are quite worried.

I hope I'll be able to arrange to move her in a separate room after the surgery, so I can at least spend as much time as I can with my angel... :( :( :(

Goki,

I'm sure everybody will join me in saying I hope Marta will get better real soon. I'm sorry to hear she is on such pain but at least she is in hospital and getting the attention that is required.

Congrats on the good gigs though it always makes such a difference to come of stage and be told "You guys were great!" :)

Goki,
I am so sorry to read this news, but I'm glad that this was found in a timely manner and will have a good ending. Marta is in our prayers for a quick and complete recovery.
Hang in there, Buddy!

So unnerving watching those we love suffer and being unable to help. Prayers being said now and at Mass this morning, Goki. And please keep us informed.

Thanks to all of you. I can't tell you how happy I am that the operation went well, coming out of the anesthesia too...

And the best part of course - the appendix didn't rupture, so there's no fear of internal infection at this point. Also, the Dr. says the wound is healing well. THANK GOD!!!!!

Marta is feeling weak, but in high spirit. I've seen her today, and will go to stay with her for several hours tomorrow after work. The stuff at the State hospital is also doing their best to help (I hope).

Can't wait to get her home - she'll need to rest a lot and keep the tempo down, which, for a girl like Marta is almost impossible, but I'm sure everything will move in the right direction!!!

Thank you once again guys for the much needed support... :geek:

What an intense week Goki! It seems to have been an emotional roller-coaster with really high highs and really low lows. I am so happy that Marta is healing up well. Now don't make her laugh at all Goki as she heals up. Prayers for both of you , especially for her continued healing.

Roland
