Just wondered if I could start a thread to find out what kit it is that you are all using right now?

Would also be awesome if you could all post pics too!!!

Look forward to the floods of pics!
:)

I'll go first :)

Phonic 12,16,24 for rehearsals at home. Switch between SonorLite LD547 ,Phonic 14x8 conversion snare.

SClassix 12,16,24 for most gigs (with sticks) Switch between SonorLite LD547, Phonic 14x8 convo

I also use my Performer Plus 12,16,22 (Brushstick/Rods gigs) Force 3000 Skandi Veneer 14x6.5.No pics  ,I'll have to fix that, how about this, drivers seat SClassix style, don't use the 2nd snare, but she matches, so she just had to be there.

Image
At the moment I'd love to use the SClassix for all gigs (honeymoon period, weight, just how awesome they are, who knows  ), but I'm not good enough to tame her for the Hotrod gigs.I can keep the 22 under control, but any of my 24's would be just too big for most of these style venues we do.

lets see some others

Next :D

I'll work on some pics of my new setup.

Jeff...what is the depth on the SClassix 24? That freaking thing has to be a Bomb.
Cymbals look awesome.

Hey Ron - glad to have You here... :)

When the situation calls to appear in ALL my glory, then these babies are out:

But, most of the time there are only small club gigs, and I can't fit on stage with the Hilite set... That's why I bought this:

The idea that I have is to find a bop Designer set (10,12,14ft,18db) or a shallow Designer 14" deep (10,12,14/16ft, 22x14bd)... ;)
That's what I call a compromise... :D

Royal's pictures are always freaking insane.
Now I can't "just take some pics" of mine. They'll look like crap.

Hope no one minds but I moved this topic over from the other section.

Now that I've found the proper set up (J.D. Aquarian and Emperor reso), this not only makes it into my top four, it may be #1.

The throw is most ingenious in its utterly dependable simplicity... the tension of the string is all that keeps it up. There is nothing to wear out or break down except the string.

The perfect Tone Control; a slice of cardboard:

Because of the cast B20 bronze hoops, this drum has mucho ring!
