:P :P :P

Funny how 80% of the Designers I've seen are in birdseye maple...

Hey Kelly,

What I find annoying lately is the number of listings with a host of unrelated keywords in them, with the seller apparently thinking that putting "Designer" in a Force 3007 listing is going to create useful exposure.

One day not too long ago, My standing "Designer " search delivered an email with over thirty new results; only two were in any way Designer related.

I found it annoying when I first read it, but can't put my finger on any one thing. Taken all together, the tone seems fatuous. Representation of selling prices is very optimistic, auction specifics pointless, but I think the little blurb beginning with, "If you do some reading... " really took the cake.

Bugs me enough to want to scratch at my screen.
Any auction with exclamation points usually is just the beginning to me wanting to punch your face in.

"As long as the beater and resonant are in tune with each other" ????????

"Square Badge" ???????

They always do that here, in the local ads...

And Kelly, auctions that manifest superiority (like this one, when he says one must tune the drum  ) always put me off.
And I've seen tons of that here as well, too...

The best thing I've heard so far was a local convincing me (for 30 minutes), that a D-505 is not a Phonic snare, BUT a special SONOR Percussion series.
Or that a standard and very used Signature set is worth 7500euro...

This is the weirdest part of it for me:
I purchased this beautiful Sonor drum about four years ago to be the recording snare in a studio that never really came to be. I played this snare very sparingly in the studio (since nobody else came in) for less than a year

Since nobody else came in? Huh? Did you build a studio before you knew any other people to play music with? Or did it never get built?

Anyway, just kind of an odd thing to put in that has absolutely nothing to do with the drum!
