... is unpredictable. I mean, not birthdays themselves, which go on with considerable regularity, even after death has done us part. I'm talking about birthday notifications and whether anybody sees them or not.

I now discover that Brian's birthday was almost two weeks ago, and nothing. Not a peep from us, and he waited by the computer all day. :P

Well, Bidding you Best Bell-ringing Boons on your Belated Birthday, Brian. :D :D :D

Seriously, Happy Birthday. Sorry we missed it. Cliff solves that problem by not having his listed. :?

Therein lies the problem. On the index page, at the bottom, there three statistic sets. The first tells who's online, the third how many members, topics, posts, etc; the second reports today's birthdays. On my computer, the birthday box is below the bottom of the page.

Glad you are all here.

A prerequisite, of course, is having been born.

Congratulations to all for having cleared that hurdle, each at various times.

No need to requalify annually, but none the less...
:?

This is a funny thread! I'm late for my own party!

Gregory exagerates, I only had my pouty face on for a few days

I know I haven't posted much lately, please forgive. Truth is, I haven't had much time to even lurk lately! The company where I've worked for seven years has had a huge increase in business. Because I have become the senior programmer in my department, I have been working over 60 hours a week. Then the weekends have become loaded with home maintenance chores and spending a little time with Audrey. I stole an hour to ride my mountain bike today, and while I was riding, I listened to my Charlie Hunter station on Pandora Radio. Listening to the funk and acid jazz made me regret not staying home to play my drums instead.

It sounds like I'm bitching because I have no time to do the things I love with the people I love, but i'm not. Busy beats the alternative!

Thanks for your kind thoughts guys!

:ugeek: Brian
