Completely heartbroken.
Marty, who I played with for 10 years. Great muscian, but it can't compare to the person he was.
Passed away yesterday of cancer at 49 years old.
The guy was gold. So glad I got so many good years with him. I'll never forget him.

Thanks Cliff. I haven't been able to get him on the phone the last few weeks. Kinda knew what was coming. They said his last days were horrible. His mom and wife were just praying he would go.
Haven't met many people with as gentle a heart as his. Sad to see him gone. I missed him since moving out of Jersey. Didn't think it would come to never seeing him again.
