New matching 13x8 Heavy Birch rack tom, Rosewood Veneer inside and out. Sonor did an amazing job of matching this tom to my kit. It sounds great as well. This was a musical decision, I thought about it for a year before hand. Thanks to Shane!

Looks great, Greg. I take it you were missing a tone?

On the note of matching veneer, Sonor can no longer go wrong; all the veneers grew from the same ALPI tree.

Congratulation, Greg. Always nice to add a new piece to the set-up.

Beautiful Greg. It is such a rush getting brand new pieces. If it is not too inquisitive, how much did that tom set you back? Shall we make a game of it? 8-)

I guess $675.00. ;)

Nice! So is that 8, 10, 12, 13 all by 8?
I love the idea of 4 up front but playing only an 8 and 10, if i even try a 12 as well it seems like the kit is massive and the ride is too far away lol

Yes all the rack toms are 8 inches deep! The ride is closer than what you see in the picture.

Greg,

What module do you use for your Roland triggers. TD-10 or 20? Something else altogether?

Congratulations on the purchase GP ;)

The set looks truly amazing!!!

So, how does it feel to play a 8"x13" tom?!? Phonic like?!?

Roland. The module is a TD 12.

Goki. I love the feeling of 8" deep rack toms, the 13" sounds great with the other toms. The color match is perfect! According to Greg, all veneer's will match from now on because they all grew from the same ALPI tree.
