Kelly,
Your set looks beautiful. The finish is out of this world. The pic of that 13" made my heart sink to my stomach.

I can only imagine how you felt when you opened it. The complete initial impact of the fall seems to have hit directly on those lugs which only isolated and intensified the damage that much more. You are a brave soul if you want to take that on as part of a woodworking project. In your neck of the woods there are probably many a good luthier who would attempt the repair. They know wood, finishes and musical instruments in regards to vibration and projection.
I had once made the mistake of not setting my very expensive classical guitar in it's case for just a minute. I took it to school to show my students and leaned it against my desk strings down. After a few seconds, it slid off my desk and hit right on the nut where the neck meets the head.

My classroom had unpadded carpet with concrete underneath. The neck split at that joint.

I almost cried in front of my students.

I thought for sure that it was irreparable but I took it to and old luthier friend of mine. Long story short, my guitar is as good as new and the repair is almost invisible.

Good luck.
Roland
