Unfortunately, no "Goki shots", but I was as happy as can be!!!

The gig went very well - it's a great experience to play with skilled musicians - it really brings the best of yourself...
We were able to really connect as a quartet - the result: a full house that did not wanna leave even after we finished playing... :D

The name of the place - NEW ORLEANS... ;) A very cozy place, serving fish, surrounded with several other small restaurants. Yesterday, everything was full - there was a Duran Duran concert nearby, so a lot of the folks came to the old city after that. And "a full house" helped the playing, a lot... 8-)

The old part of the city really has its charm. Cobbled streets, old spirit, people enjoying themselves... A perfect place for an outdoor gig.
The only problem - it was extremely hot, and I was soaking wet at the end...

Haven't done a side by side comparison Gregory. I hope I'll be able to do that this week - because of the heat, playing drums is almost unbearable...

I can only comment that, compared to the Gretsch Catalina 18" bass drum, it has a clearer tone, a greater definition and a bigger volume. All of which I like very very much... :D
