Great, and welcome to the USA, Goki. I am really interested to hear your step by step impressions, so keep posting whenever you have time, with pics! :D :D :D

Some people really get a kick out of New York; others, like you and I, find it entertaining for what it has to offer but are happier in more serene environments. Let's see: it's Saturday and the weather should be good: check out Central Park to see how absolutely insane it can be! New Yorkers have very strange ideas about what the outdoors is for. Andy Warhol, I remember, said it was just a place to park his car.

I wish you could come out here, but I know that's not possible. If I were able, I'd be in Austin in a heartbeat with you and Cliff and Marta and Terri.

I wish you could, Greg. :(

Great pics! I love NYC... incredible place to visit. Their is no energy like it in the US. Tough place to live though... very expensive and not much space for drummers!

Keep us posted on Boston. Enjoy your visit!

Having a great time!

Spent all of Friday evening hanging out and talking drums.

Yesterday we got out and about a bit in the morning, set up some Signatures for Goki in the afternoon, and got in some playing time.

Last night Goki, Marta, Teri, Cliff and Charlie went out to an nice outdoor restaurant a few towns away for dinner and live music, and almost everyone made it home before falling asleep; everyone else made it lasted about three minutes after getting in the door.

More later, with phtos.
;)

And today, some drumming and drum "buddy-ing"... :D :D :D

I must say - the Designers sound like a million $$$...

Austin is a great place to be.
Unlike NYC, where everyone's in a rush, people here are friendly, love to communicate and love to hang around...
I guess a pair of boots and a hat is next... ;)

I can't wear a cowboy hat; it always looks like I stole it.
