I saw Shane the other night at the Erskine clinic and he wanted to know if anyone had any extras lying around. Let me know or call the shop

It's funny, I was at a wedding in CT two weeks ago and Peter was there as a guest. He's a really sweet guy. He got up and played a tune with some other great NY musicians who were also guests. The drum set sounded like shit (not his) and the cymbal fell off the BD-mounted stand in the middle of the tune! Too funnny...

I got a chance to talk to him and reminisce about seeing a great clinic he did in 1983 in NJ. I drove down with a buddy of mine and we were obsessed with the first Steps Ahead album that had just come out. His first solo record had just been released too. He had Eddie Gomez and Eliane Elias from Steps there with him and they played a lot of great stuff. Anyway, I won a raffle for his solo LP at the clinic, and afterwards went up to get him to sign it. While he was doing so, I happened to mention that I already had taped it from a friend. He looked up and with a smile, said "Schmuck"! We both had a good laugh about that 30 years later!

I keep a look out for him Tim. The problem is everyone wants them. Including me.
They are never for sale.
