I see that Scott has posted a link to ‘Ondrums’, and we appreciate that.

I think I can speak for myself, Greg, Kelly, and a few others and say that there are a lot of guys on the Sonormuseum that we miss being in contact with, and we hope that we may now begin to see some of those folks here as well.

Since a few of us set up shop here, we have kept a pretty low profile, and it has been an unspoken understanding from the outset that this place is not ‘in opposition’ to anything or anyone; it is simply another place where people can connect, with a personality of its own.

If Scott’s post led you here, then you already understand that neither place has any desire to polarize members or to impose any expectation of exclusivity.

There are exceptions to everything, but there is a pretty good chance that you are welcome here, and that we have missed you.

You may also want to take a look at another place that Mike and Erika Starcher have set up at http://speakingofdrums.com/

Welcome to Ondrums...

I had forgotten about speakingofdrums so thanks for reminding me. I seem to remember there being an AWFUL lot of sections which was a bit overwhelming!

Hey Nick,

Good to see you here. I had been following your links on the Sonormuseum to stuff you recorded with your Lites. Nice stuff.

I have finally gotten my Signatures into the studio (after I picked up an 18" kick from Matt/Dr-funkenstein). There are some samples in the "They sound like this..." section.

Welcome.
;)

I wonder if you are confusing Speaking of Drums with another forum that had a lot of sections?

Mike & Erika have a really nice, clean set-up.

Good to see you, Rob.

Congratulations on the new Steve Smith Signature kit!

Must have been tough to let the S Classix go, eh?
