... drum forum I can now spend the next few hours/days reading up on past posts prior to jumping in with both feet!!!

Good to see some familiar names from the past in here whose contributions on other forums I have missed.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Currently I'm in my last fortnight in the US, we fly two weeks today. The house looks as if a bombs gone off.

I still have the Oak Custom, I'm now wavering whether to sell it; the shippers are collecting all our stuff Friday and that will be the crunch day. If I'm within my weight allowance I'll keep the Oak kit. Unfortunately, the Yamaha Beech Custom had to go, but it has gone to a good home.

I also have my eyes on a nice beech Sonor Performer back home which I may aquire as my knock-around kit.....
