Just confirmed two things today:

1. Cymbals are en route from US distributor today
2. They do not apply any sort of sealer, as most 'majors' seem to do these days. They will develop a nice patina over time.

If all goes well, next post on this subject will be sound clips.
;)

Sealer? To keep them shiny? There is nothing I'm aware of that would keep them shiny for long without eventually getting leprosy!

Fun looking forward to their arrival. I'm looking forward to your response to them! :)

Manana Manana, Manana is good enough for... oh, wait a minute!... this has nothing to do with Sonor. They'll probably be there! :P

While we wait.....

I smacked some Meinl Sound Caster cymbals today at GC. VERY very nice sounding cymbals. The word "Watery" comes to mind. They were crashes in the Fusion series. The hats sounded incredible too.
