That number is going way up.
A very rough few days for us but we are alive. Lost a car, a massive tree and some house damage. Far better off than some folks. Spent the entire night in the basement. 2 days without power.
Never experienced anything like it and hope I don't have to again. Horrifying.

Holy Cow, Kelly! I'm glad to hear you guys are okay. You guys need to come out to Colorado. Destructive storms are rare here!
All the Best,
:ugeek: Brian

Glad to hear you folks are all ok.

I have seen the power of a F-5 that went through my part of Texas about 12-13 years ago.

If you were to trace the path of the damge, it was apparent that it skipped over my neighborhood, with massive destruction before and after.

Actually Brian, for the Knoxville area they are also very rare.
Not rare enough.
Still waiting for the insurance folks to get here. House and car. The Audi is destroyed. But everytime I go to get sad about it I see so many without homes and so many that lost someone.
Tough times. Could of been a lot tougher for us. I'm greatful.

Hang in there Kelly - everything that is "material" is replaceable, sooner or later...

Thanks Tim. Well after seeing what others are going through I feel very fortunate. Everyone is just waiting for insurance adjusters to arrive. I heard they are just sending out contractors and not even looking they are so inundated. Some said they have been asked if they just want a check. They are trying to get car windows from all over the country shipped in. Impossible to get house glass too.
Looks like I'm getting a brand new roof and a new garage door. Still waiting for the car guy. I'm just greatful I'm alive and it's only insurance issues.
The National weather center has since laid out the exact path the storms took. The tornado's went directly, and I mean directly over top my house but did not touch down until way after me. Very fortunate for me.
Just read the story of a woman in a trailer that hid under her piano. The trailer was blown across her yard and hit some trees. Causing the piano to collapse and kill her. Unbelievable. To think had she not went under the piano she would have survived. Her husband was there and was unharmed. Poor guy probably told her to get under it.

 You and Cliff have more in common than drums and anniversaries.
