Short story. A few folks told me early on "Good luck finding a matching 8 tom, will take you years".
Well....they don't know me. I found one.
Found it on a guys kit. But it doesn't match his. He was looking for a 8 Marquis tom to match his, been looking for years. They say those are even more rare.
So....I found one of them :D and figured we just trade.
He doesn't want it because it has a few scuffs on it :(

Nice kit Kelly.

Can you repair the scuffs? If you need help, just ask...

Hey Latz,
I sure can't. It's a lacquered stain. And besides that the badge looks like it has been swiped pretty bad.
Removing the scuffs could be a help though. Do you want me to post some pics of it?

I Would get that, just for the fun of it. It would possibly drop the price too... ;)

Damn, I just read your post again Kelly = sorry....
It is HIM who doesn't want the tom because of the scuffs... :(

My bad - sorry again...

If those are like Sonor, then the stain is in the wood, not the lacquer. Should be very easy to repair if that's the case, just a little time. The badge... perhaps your Premier rich vein has a badge? :|

I can probably find a badge. You want to take a shot at it Greg, I'll buy the thing.

Yes Goki, this is the drum he needs, he has the one I need but wouldn't trade because he doesn't like the look of it. Mind you the drum is extremely rare and he still refused.

Should be fairly easy to repair. I have a friend who repaired his Cherry Wine Tama (original) Superstar tom with a red sharpie and lacquer.

If Greg doesn't want to tackle this, I will... I used to strip, refinish and repair furniture.. drums are easy

I'm not set up to do this. Don't know the material or the method, so wouldn't want you to buy it for me to practice on.
