I see Formula One is headed to Austin. Maybe if I wait long enough, the Atlantic Ocean will show up in my front yard?

Yup.

It was announced about a year ago, and the track construction is well underway.

Funny thing is, I am a big F1 fan, and have been to F1 races in North America and all over Europe, but I am not too sure that I want to spend 3-4 hours in the mid-June, 100 plus degree sun, to see a race in my home town. :?

Building an F1 track is a huge undertaking, but in comparison to getting the Atlantic to your front door, it seems pretty small.

Would you settle for extending one of the great lakes? :? :lol:

About the same way you are looking forward to extended F1... but getting reliable internet would be good. 8-)
