Anyone remember my quest for this kit?
http://www.ebay.de/itm/SONOR-Signature- ... 500wt_1156
I was just outbid, then the drums were re-listed individually by the same seller .
After endless Emails, failing freight options, and communication issues, I managed to buy the 12,16,24 for 1200eu delivered to the Sonor factory in Bad Berleburg :D .
I just received confirmation they are on their way :D . I haven't had a lot of experience with International freight, truth be told, I'm absolutely terrified somethings gonna go wrong.

Wish me luck guys, :D
Cheers

Congrats! You've been after that for a long time, Jeff. Must feel great to have landed them and a little uneasy worrying about them.

Thanks mate :D , I'm a bit beyond 'a little uneasy'. .
But seller assures me that 'Drums will be safe, unless driver puts them under truck and drives over them'.
Checking my Emails every 2 mins

Cheers :D

They'll reach the SONOR factory safe, I'm sure of it...

And the US also, Jeff...

Congratulations on the find, once again... Can't wait to see pics of those beauties set up... :D

Cheers Goki :D , but I hope they don't go to the US. I'm in Australia  .
I haven't heard anything about their arrival, but the tracking number I was given states 'Successful Delivery'.
Sounds good to me ;) .

Thanks Guys :D
Cheers

Of course Jeff - I realized that when I posted, but it's fun how I "naturalize" everyone...

Sorry for the mixup.
Point is - if it's on a plane, there's nothing to worry about!!!

Good luck Jeff and congrats, really happy for you.

It's been a couple stressful days for me too and it doesn't always take international shipping. I thought I was completely safe having my nephew drive to Boston to get the Walnut orphans that I bought. Turns out after he picked them up he got a flat tire and had no spare because he got a flat tire on the way there too. He had a friend in NJ pick him up in NY to go get a spare tire. They got a spare, went back to put it on and the truck was gone. Towed thankfully and not stolen (it is NY) with my drums inside. Of course the tow place was closed and he had to wait until the next day. So my drums sat God knows where in a truck in a tow yard. Half expected to never see them. "There wasn't anything in that truck when we picked it up".
All is well now.

 ,all should be good Kel ;) .If they're still in the truck, they're fine. :D
I really appreciate all your advice, I'm still looking for a 12x10 Grained Maple SClass Pro, probably prefer a 10x9 at the moment with all thats going on. Might have found a use for my previous 10,13,16 set up :? :| ;)

Cheers Guys :D

I'm waiting for a drum to ship from Germany, too. :D I just don't think about it, and entertain myself by listening to music and looking at photos, like this one:

Flat tire in Boston or New York? Geez... you can lose your whole front end in the pot holes up here if you're not careful! ;)

Those drums are gonna have a story to tell. Two tires and a towing bill, not to mention the gas. Man we coulda shipped them for less!
