I presume that "oldest and wisest" is convenient and indivisible phrase, and not necessarily complementary.

When I was born 61 years ago... I don't remember much about it. I was kinda small then. I didn't even know who Bob Hope was, because it was still a coupla days before his first TV special. This should give you an idea of the times. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDrZ_uMmGrI

Can anyone but wonder at the cultural shift when the Rolling Stones showed up just fifteen years later.

My dog (Charlie Watts) and I have birthdays less than a month apart.

Last year, he reached (in dog years) what I reached in people years.

This year Charlie will be nine in people years.

We're both tired.

You figure it out.

You got me confused there Cliff...

http://www.onlineconversion.com/dogyears.htm

The formula is: 10.5 dog years per human year for the first 2 years, then 4 dog years per human year for each year after.

2*10.5+7*4=21+28= 49

That's why You look young, I guess... ;)

I think Charlie has circumvented that formula and is using a 7:1 ratio.

Cliff,

You coulda' lost a few years using Goki's formula. :o  8-) Then you could market the "age-reducing" formula on infomercials and the internet and afford to take us all to a nice dinner. :P
