It looks like the bass drum won't be here until next week.
IF a letter from the customs office arrives tomorrow, they'll release it (send it to the post office) on Friday-Saturday, so I'll be able to pick it up Monday afternoon.

I have no idea what papers the factory put inside (declaration, invoice, something else) - stuff that is needed for the customs, to determine the fees...

No matter what - I'm excited as a kid before Santa... :D :D :D

THE DRUM IS HERE!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Unfortunately, SONOR did not declare (in the invoice) that this is a EU product, so the customs want to charge 100euro extra... Perfect... :lol:

The bass drum is in the depot, unless I can provide some proof from the SONOR factory.

And yes, the "good guys" did not let me (to at least) check if its OK...

Congrats on its arrival, Goki, and I trust it will be home soon. Can't wait to hear about it!

As to not being allowed to look in the box, what would everyone do if you refused shipment? :?

Latest developments:
- I persuaded the post office to keep the package until June 22nd (my BDay). After 10 minutes of hard talk, they agreed...
- I wrote to the SONOR factory to send the needed invoice. If it reaches me until June 22nd - I will have an option of proving it's an EU product and the customs fee should change....

If not, I'll be picking up the bass drum on my birthday, or earlier, if SONOR refuses to send me this paper..
