Check out this new device coming out in NAMM 2013. You wouldn't be able to use it with the Sonor slotted tension rods.

For those of us who change heads pretty infrequently this stuff is kind of overkill, but I'll bet it would be very useful to a drum tech on tour with a heavy hitter!

The Tru Tuner is a nice gizmo. Great to use for quick head changes (by roadies and other techs)

The roto-snare is just too frightening to me... :S
