12-17" of snow forecast for tonight and tomorrow, temps dropping to 9ºF, winds gusting snow at 45 mph. Everything comes to a halt because plows or no plows, you can't see nothin'.

Cupola should have 4-5 new songs written by the time you can return to the world, eh. ;)

When it gets that cold and windy, it is just as economical to throw money on the fire, and save going out for wood?
:(

When the temp goes down to -20º, you can hear the nozzle inserted into your bank account with a vacuum at the other end.

Brrrr!!

Funny, I have an old girlfriend that moved to Alaska in the mid-1980s and never left. Raised a family and has a really nice life up there. But she said when it gets UP to -20º F, that's when they can tell Spring is around the corner! :o

When -20º F is warm, that's when you can tell that she has gone 'round the bend'.
